Draftsman (Interiors, Architecture & Furniture Drawings)

As a Draftsman at The Design Story, you will be responsible for preparing precise 2D technical drawings, including furniture drawings, wall elevations, and detailed interior layouts. Your role will involve creating and refining MEP drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design concepts, collaborating with designers and project managers, and maintaining drawing documentation throughout project timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare precise 2D technical drawings, including furniture drawings, wall elevations, and detailed interior layouts. - Create and refine MEP drawings and coordinate technical details with relevant teams. - Ensure accuracy and adherence to design concepts in all drawings. - Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate ideas into execution-ready drawings. - Maintain drawing documentation and revisions throughout project timelines. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience as a Draftsman in interiors, furniture, or architectural drawings. - Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting tools. - Prior experience in furniture detailing and shop drawings is highly preferred. - Knowledge of civil/architectural/construction detailing is a strong plus. - Interior architects with a strong focus on detailed drawings are welcome. - Detail-oriented, with excellent accuracy and time management skills.
