Draftsman

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support various engineering and architectural projects. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of design principles. The Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet project specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and plans using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into technical drawings.
• Create 3D models using SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization purposes.
• Prepare layouts, schematics, and diagrams for construction projects.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements and specifications throughout the drafting process.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, and NavisWorks.
• Strong mechanical design skills with the ability to draft complex systems.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools like SketchUp is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
