Drafter & Steel Detailer (Tekla Structures)

Position Summary

Tekla Structures All-Rounder

Key Responsibilities

• Set up new projects in Tekla Structures, including templates, filters, reports, and settings
• Create detailed 3D models for structural and miscellaneous steel components
• Perform connection detailing for both standard and custom connections
• Extract General Arrangement (GA) drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings
• Ensure all outputs meet industry standards and project specifications

Qualifications

• Minimum

  5 years of hands-on experience

  with

  Tekla Structures

  (U.S. Imperial unit system preferred)
• Strong knowledge of

  AISC standards

  and steel fabrication/shop drawing processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• On-site presence in Katy, Texas is required

  .
• A

  hybrid work arrangement may be considered

  after 6 months of consistent and proven on-site performance, subject to management approval

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with fabrication and construction environments
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively
