Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Set up and operate
double column VMC machines
(e.g., SNK, Toshiba, Hartford, etc.) for machining large and heavy components.
Read and interpret complex
engineering drawings, GD&T
, and machining instructions.
Select appropriate tools, set tool offsets, and verify programs before production.
Make necessary offset adjustments and minor program edits (if required).
Ensure
first-piece inspection
and in-process quality checks using precision instruments (micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.).
Monitor machine operations and ensure parts meet quality and dimensional standards.
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with the programming and quality team to resolve machining challenges.
