Role & responsibilities

About the Role

Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities / KRAs

  • Understand product vision and translate business requirements into technical solution architectures
  • Support Delivery and Project Managers with effort estimations and technical inputs
  • Design and maintain solution frameworks, technical designs, and related artifacts
  • Develop, review, and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code
  • Publish and track code quality metrics and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Participate in sprint planning, execution, and release deployments
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of total hands-on software development experience
  • Strong expertise in

    C#.NET, ASP.NET, and React.js

  • Working knowledge of

    Kubernetes

  • Exposure to

    Semantic Kernel SDK

    is a plus
  • Good understanding of

    Architecture Patterns

    (MVC, MVVM, SOA, OOAD) and

    Design Patterns

  • Experience with refactoring, unit testing, code versioning, and coding best practices
  • Knowledge of

    IIS, AJAX, XML, and LINQ

    is an advantage
  • Experience with

    Azure Cloud Platform

    is a plus
  • Proficiency in

    JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS

  • Strong database skills, preferably

    SQL Server 2012 or above

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience or exposure to solution design in one or more domains such as:
    • Insurance
    • Banking
    • Healthcare
    • Retail Services

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player in an agile environment
