Experience Required: 3 - 15 years Salary Range: Best In Industry Work Location: Bangalore Role & responsibilities : Designing of Electrical Oil cooled Power Transformers range of Up to 20 MVA 11kV, 33kV & 63KV). Designing LV coils using copper FOIL (Elliptical coils). Exposure to Transformer Design knowledge. Preparation of BOM's Designing of Star-rated energy-efficient Transformers as per standards. Interacting with Customers for technical clarification in order to process the inquiries and orders to be executed. Senior Transformer Designer - Dry Type Kalpa Electrikal

Responsibilities:- Product design in single and three phase Dry Type transformers (CRT & VPI) between 1 kVA and 3150 kVA up to 33kV Class Design meeting requirements of latest IEC/ IS / ANSI / OEM applications & and standards. Preparation of technical specifications, and data sheets for Tenders/ enquires. Estimation and costing for tenders / special application transformers/export inquiries. Collaborate with other departments to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, carry ideas through final product design, and respond quickly to design change requests Develop and implement design improvements to enhance or cost-reduce existing dry-type transformer designs using various standards Manage multiple projects and priorities to meet established deadlines. Active involvement in the production and quality activities to ensure the best product quality in the Casting / Varnish impregnation process. Analyzing the root causes of the problems and initiating corrective and preventive actions. Checking of Mechanical drawings for production release. Skills Required:- 2+ years of experience in designing Dry-type transformers. To prepare customers' days and manufacturing days for transformers as per plan. Coordinate with customers, sales, and commercials. BE / Diploma in Electrical.
