Job Description

Role & responsibilities: 1. Application Development: Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.Net MVC. Implement data access layers and business logic using Entity Framework and MSSQL. Develop RESTful WebAPIs to support seamless integration between client and server-side applications. 2. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and queries. Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of the MSSQL database. 3. API Development and Integration: Create and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external system integrations. Ensure proper API documentation and versioning. 4. Code Quality and Standards: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency. 5. System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Design scalable and efficient application architectures to meet business needs. Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments. 7. Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and APIs. Work closely with UI/UX designers, QA testers, and project managers to deliver cohesive solutions. 8. Performance Optimization: Optimize application and database performance to handle large datasets and high user loads. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in application and database performance Preferred candidate profile Technical Skills: Strong experience in ASP.Net MVC framework. Proficient in Entity Framework and code-first approaches. Expertise in MSSQL with hands-on experience in performance optimization. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery). 2. Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN. Knowledge of Visual Studio (Community) IDE for development. Experience with Postman or similar tools for API development. 3. Additional Skills: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Ability to write unit tests using tools like NUnit or xUnit. Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus. 4. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
