• Lead the design and development of .NET and scripting-based web applications, as well as backend processes for critical financial systems including payment processing, transaction capture, corporate actions, and valuations platforms • Guide cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into flexible, scalable, maintainable, and extendable solutions that support business strategy across complex financial workflows • Work closely with business partners, analysts, and developers across multiple teams to develop integrated solutions and ensure successful completion of project objectives within budget and on time • Provide technical estimates for development work after requirement walkthroughs and technical requirements are provided, ensuring accurate project planning and resource allocation • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and production support teams to implement solutions and ensure stability of the production environment for mission-critical financial applications • Provide on-call support for troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents and problems across the application portfolio • Lead full lifecycle product engineering across multiple applications, ensuring adherence to quality, compliance/regulatory/audit, architectural and technical standards • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for large-scale financial systems • Ensure operating efficiency of existing application systems while maintaining comprehensive documentation for systems development and revisions • Conduct analyses of organizational needs and goals for development and implementation of application systems supporting capital markets operations WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must Have: • 5+ years of experience developing, designing, and maintaining web and windows applications, architectures, and frameworks with solid grounding in OOAD and SOLID principles • Familiarity with TDD, BDD and knowledge of testing frameworks for comprehensive software quality assurance • Deep experience with C# and solid experience working with SQL for financial application development • Good understanding of data structures and solid experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and Sybase • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project management, requirements tracking, and technical documentation • Exceptionally strong business communication and stakeholder management skills with advanced problem-solving abilities • Autonomous and highly motivated with ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced financial environment • Highly accountable with leadership qualities and demonstrated initiative in driving technical solutions • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working within structured development methodologies • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent Nice to Have: • 3+ years of experience with Java, REST API/Microservices development • Experience working with IT architecture including documenting system architecture or assisting with system architecture design and documentation • Experience creating training materials that can be leveraged by new team members on both business operations and technology sides (developers and QAs) • Experience with Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell scripts for automation and integration tasks • Experience with GitHub for version control and collaborative development • Experience with Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes; familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts • Experience working in the finance industry with understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements • Exposure to DevOps best practices and continuous integration/deployment methodologies
