Door Trims

As a Design and Development Engineer in the automotive industry, your primary role will involve designing and developing Door Trims, Energy Absorption Pads, and various interior automotive parts. You will be responsible for creating Automotive interiors decorative parts and Soft Touch interior components utilizing a range of technologies. Additionally, you will perform CAE analysis on Interior parts stiffness and conduct testing at both Parts and Vehicle levels. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing Door Trims, interior decorative parts, and Soft Touch components according to the program schedule. You will also be involved in CAE analysis of Interior parts stiffness and may need to conduct Parts and Vehicle level testing as per the program schedule. Ensuring Regulation compliance, monitoring Cost and Weight at the Part and Sub-System level, and planning Countermeasures based on Design/Quality Reviews, Line Feedback, and Testing will be key aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will be required to coordinate with business partners for the development of parts, emphasizing effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.,
