Job Description

As a Domain Trainee - Record to Report at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in General Ledger close activities, such as processing journals, account reconciliations, trial balance review, and reporting of unreconciled open items. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with customers/clients on a daily basis, potentially involving telephonic conversations. Your key responsibilities will involve the preparation and review of Balance sheet account reconciliations, reporting of open items, ensuring timely delivery of work with regular updates to stakeholders, and the preparation and updating of process documentation. Additionally, you will be involved in research, investigations, and analysis to ensure detailed understanding with a logical approach. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing responses to queries from clients and auditors, participating in the migration of additional finance responsibilities, including developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation for all finance functions managed by the team. Ad-hoc reporting & queries, ensuring the integrity and completeness of financial records, and compliance with finance control standards will also be part of your role. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications/Skills: - Commerce Graduate with working experience in finance and accounting - Excellent Reconciliation, Accounting & Reporting experience Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Prior experience in reconciliations & close - Good knowledge of General Ledger If you are passionate about finance and accounting, possess strong reconciliation and reporting skills, and are eager to work in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
