Job Title: Sea Import Documentation Executive - Freight Forwarding

Job Description:

Position Overview: The Sea Import Documentation Executive is responsible for managing all documentation related to the import of goods via sea transportation. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of import regulations, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Preparation: Prepare and review all necessary import documentation, including bills of lading, File on Odex, Container Movement to Nominated CFS, IGM updation.

Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, shipping lines, customs authorities, and other relevant parties to facilitate the import process and resolve any issues that may arise.

Tracking and Monitoring: Keep track of shipments in transit, update clients on the status of their cargo, and provide timely information on any delays or issues.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all import documentation for auditing and reference purposes.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any documentation-related issues or discrepancies that may occur during the import process.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as operations and sales, to ensure a coordinated and efficient import process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of international import regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for documentation management.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with customs brokerage procedures and requirements is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
