Job Description

Role & responsibilities

patient Coordination
Schedule and manage patient appointments with doctors.
Guide patients regarding consultation procedures, reports, and follow-ups.
Provide pre- and post-consultation instructions to patients.
Doctor Assistance
Maintain and update the doctors daily calendar (OPD, IPD, surgeries, meetings).
Ensure timely availability of medical records, reports, and investigations before consultation.
Assist doctors in documentation, consent forms, and patient history collection.
Administrative Support
Handle patient registration, billing, and insurance-related formalities.
Maintain accurate patient databases and records.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of medical and non-medical reports.
Communication & Liaison
Act as a link between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments.
Answer patient queries via phone, email, or in person.
Relay critical information to doctors and patients promptly.
Operational Management
Ensure smooth flow of patients in OPD .
Coordinate with diagnostic labs, pharmacies, and other hospital units for timely service.
Manage emergency appointments and prioritize cases based on urgency.
Confidentiality & Compliance
Ensure patient data privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Follow hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and medical ethics.
Assist in audits, quality checks, and compliance requirements.
Reporting & Feedback
Track and report patient feedback to management.
Maintain MIS reports on patient visits, doctor schedules, and departmental activities.
