As a Divisional Risk and Controls Specialist, Vice President at Deutsche Bank's Private Bank in Mumbai, India, your role involves leading a team to manage non-financial risks and control mechanisms for the Private Bank. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a team in Mumbai to handle various Non-Financial Risk management topics such as Risk and Control Assessment (RCA), Findings Management, Operational Risk Incidents Tracking/Reporting, Control Governance, oversight, testing, and remediation - Driving the RCA process to ensure accurate risk profiling for United States and Europe International - Analyzing monthly Contextual Data to determine updates required to the risk profile - Creating and maintaining an RCA Summary Report with key themes, risk drivers, new risks, and remediation planning - Coordinating quarterly RCA workshops with Business, Risk Type Controllers, and Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) - Involving NFRM, Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime, and Legal throughout the RCA process - Creating new findings based on control gaps or remediation requirements - Supporting Non-Financial Controls, Governance, and related processes - Developing effective partnerships with DCO, COO colleagues & Infrastructure partners Additionally, your tasks will include: - Defining the risk management framework - Developing processes and procedures to report on, manage, and mitigate risks - Ensuring business conduct aligns with laws, regulations, and internal policies - Providing thought leadership on risk taxonomies, assessment methodologies, and control implementation - Communicating regulatory developments and implications - Driving risk-related processes and drafting risk procedures - Coordinating risk and control assessment processes - Providing a consolidated view of non-financial risks Your qualifications and experience should include: - Proven experience in Non-Financial Risk management in the financial industry - Relevant experience in Retail Banking/Private Banking sector or financial services/consultancy - Experience in working on global projects - University degree Competencies required: - Strong analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Ability to work under pressure - Strong communication and relationship skills - Excellent command of English language - Ability to manage a team Personal characteristics needed: - Proactive attitude and self-initiative - Strong Team Player skills - Eagerness to learn and adapt - Service-oriented - Delivery-focused - Flexibility and ability to handle shifting priorities Deutsche Bank offers training, coaching, and a culture of continuous learning to support your career growth.
