Distillation Engineer

Ascent Finechem is a manufacturer-exporter of fine and specialty chemicals. We supply API intermediates, aroma chemicals, and other specialty chemicals to pharmaceutical, flavors & fragrances, and performance chemical manufacturing companies worldwide. This is a full-time on-site role for a Distillation Engineer located in Vatva, Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and safe operation of 5 distillation columns.
• Calculating the mass balance of every batch.
• Training operators to run the distillation plant.
• Managing the utilities required for the distillation plant.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E., Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience operating fractionating distillation plants for specialty or aroma chemicals.
• Expertise in the principles of different types of distillation including operating continuous distillation columns.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• M.Tech in Chemical Engineering
• Experience running manual as well as SCADA based distillation plants
