Dispatcher - Customer Service

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Dispatcher to join our logistics team and ensure the smooth scheduling and coordination of freight shipments across the US. The Dispatcher will manage driver schedules, track loads, and serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal operations to ensure on-time and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign loads to drivers, ensuring maximum utilization of equipment and resources.
• Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and weather to make real-time adjustments.
• Communicate pickup/delivery instructions clearly to drivers and resolve any issues during transit.
• Track freight status through dispatch software/TMS and provide updates to customers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service (HOS), and company policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all dispatch activities, including load sheets, driver logs, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to meet client requirements.
• Address driver concerns, breakdowns, or emergencies in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Dispatcher in trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of US geography, transportation regulations, and DOT compliance.
• Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems), GPS tracking tools, or ELDs.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,506.44 - ₹35,000.00 per month
