Discrete Event Simulation Engineer

Job Description

Position: Engineer Discrete Event Simulation Location: Baner, Pune What You'll Do: • Conceptualise the simulation process and decompose the modules required for the project. Planning and scheduling of the task among the team. Team Management • Use tools like Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, FlexSim, Emulate3D, and programming languages such as Simtalk, Python, or C++ to design and implement simulation solutions. • Support data analysis and modelling efforts to translate simulation results into actionable insights for improving operational efficiency and decision-making. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure models align with business goals and performance metrics. What We're Looking For: • Around 5 - 10 year of experience in discrete event simulation, systems modelling and team management • Familiarity with simulation tools (Tecnomatix Plant Simulation is must and FlexSim or Emulate3D can be optional) and programming languages (Python, Java, or C++). • Strong analytical skills and an ability to think critically about complex production systems. • Eagerness to expand your knowledge of simulation, optimization techniques, data analysis and production technologies • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to drive results. • A problem-solving mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve Qualifications: • Bachelors / Masters Degree in Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering. • A strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and optimization techniques.
