Director- Technology Leader (Frontend focused)

Role Overview: At IDfy, you will be leading a cross-functional pod while actively participating in coding tasks. Your main responsibilities will include designing scalable architectures, reviewing design documents and critical PRs, delivering secure and resilient cloud-native applications on GCP or AWS, developing UIs, APIs, microservices, and business components to simplify user journeys, collaborating with various teams to align technical decisions with customer value, gathering feedback from clients to drive rapid fixes, establishing processes for code quality and automation, and fostering a culture of ownership and ongoing learning within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a cross-functional pod by guiding the team and remaining hands-on with code - Design and review architecture, design documents, and critical PRs - Deliver secure and resilient applications on GCP or AWS - Build UIs, APIs, microservices, and business components to simplify user journeys - Partner with Product, Business, and Enablement teams to align technical decisions with customer value - Interact with clients to gather feedback, understand pain points, analyze root causes of support issues, and drive rapid fixes - Establish processes that champion code quality, automation, and continuous improvement - Foster a culture of ownership, inclusivity, and ongoing learning within the team Qualifications Required: - 12-16 years of professional software design and development experience - Proficiency in front-end development with React (or its ecosystem) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript - Proficiency in at least one additional language such as Elixir, Go, Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET - Strong system-design skills with a focus on patterns, resilience, and clarity - Track record of shipping performant, cloud-native products at scale (experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD is a plus) - User-centric mindset with strong interface design instincts and the ability to choose the right tools - Proven ability in inclusive leadership, mentoring diverse teams, and engaging directly with clients - Excellent communication skills to articulate trade-offs, influence stakeholders, and inspire action,
