Director, TB Data Risk and Governance

Job Description: As a Data Sovereignty Risk Analyst at Standard Chartered, your role involves assessing data sovereignty risk across all Transaction Banking Cash and Trade applications and corresponding processes. You are responsible for aligning with data quality requirements and ensuring that the framework is fit for its purpose. Your key responsibilities include: - Ensuring all risk associated with data are registered in M7 for better tracking and remediation. - Safeguarding different data categories from unauthorized access. - Reporting on completed actions, achievements & challenges of TB DQ projects. - Ensuring adherence to data protections regulations. - Identifying and mitigating risks associated with data handling, storage, and transmission. - Working with relevant stakeholders to implement DQ initiatives within Transaction Banking Data space. - Engaging senior business stakeholders across geographies. Qualifications: - Ability to multi-task and manage stakeholders at various levels (both senior and working level). - Strong in both written and verbal communication. - Self-motivated go-getter with optimistic attitude and enthusiastic learner with broad shoulders. - Courageous and able to challenge the status quo. - Experience working in data management projects and data governance in a distributed agile environment. - In-depth understanding of data management obligations and control frameworks. - Knowledge in records digitalization/imaging technology, industry records management tooling/solutions.
