Director of Sales Catering | Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve catering revenue and profitability targets
Lead, mentor, and manage the catering sales team to drive performance and growth
Identify new business opportunities through corporate accounts, weddings, social events, MICE, and institutional clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, event planners, vendors, and partners
Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and closing of high-value catering deals
Collaborate with culinary, operations, and banquet teams to ensure seamless event execution
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to stay competitive
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports for senior management
Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and manage key accounts from inquiry to post-event follow-up
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums
