Director of Food & Beverage

As the strategic business leader of the property's food and beverage/culinary operation at The St. Regis Mumbai, your role includes overseeing Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Banquets/Catering. You will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental strategies to ensure the food and beverage/culinary operation meets the brand's target customer needs, focuses on growing revenues, and maximizes financial performance. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting expectations and holding the food and beverage leadership team accountable for desired service behaviors - Reviewing financial reports to determine performance against budget and making recommendations for CAPEX funding - Developing and managing the Food and Beverage budget, monitoring sales, and ensuring revenue goals are met - Leading, influencing, and encouraging the food and beverage team, building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation - Ensuring exceptional customer service by providing guidance, feedback, and taking corrective actions based on guest feedback - Managing human resource activities by setting performance standards, hiring team members, and providing specific feedback to improve performance Qualifications required for this role include a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in food and beverage or a related area, or a 2-year degree in a related major with 4 years of experience. Skills and knowledge in customer service, financial management, business administration, and market dynamics will be essential for success in this position.
