Director of Engineering - Fintech/ SAAS Startup

As the Head of Engineering at Autocash AI, an AI-powered Fintech SaaS company, you will play a crucial role in leading the India engineering team and shaping the future of financial automation. You will have the opportunity to own the technology charter, work on cutting-edge problems in AI and fintech, and scale a product that will redefine financial automation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own architecture and design for a multi-tenant SaaS platform with high availability and security. - Build scalable systems to handle growing transaction volumes, real-time analytics, and AI/ML workloads. - Drive technical choices for backend (Python), frontend (React), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and database (Postgres). - Lead technical deep dives, ensure high code quality, and design for scalability, resilience, monitoring, and observability. - Establish performance benchmarks, capacity planning, and ensure robust security and compliance. - Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of engineers into a high-performing organization. - Set up Agile processes, CI/CD pipelines, QA automation, and release management. - Create a strong engineering culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation. - Partner with product and business leadership to align the technical roadmap with customer needs. - Represent engineering in front of clients, partners, and investors when required. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 6-10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in leadership. - Proven experience designing and scaling SaaS systems, preferably in fintech or B2B SaaS. - Strong hands-on expertise with Python, React, AWS, and Postgres. - Experience with AI/ML integration, multi-tenant design, data pipelines, and microservices. - Familiarity with observability tools and excellent communication skills.,
