Director of Advancement

The University Office at Ahmedabad University is looking for a Director to join the team. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor, you will be responsible for fundraising and development initiatives at the University. Ahmedabad University is a private, non-profit institution dedicated to providing students with a liberal education that emphasizes research-driven and project-based learning. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into proposals for potential supporters outside the university. You will also engage with external stakeholders to identify their requirements and collaborate with the University to develop projects that meet those needs. Additionally, you will be expected to develop detailed plans and work towards achieving clear outcomes and targets. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, project development, interpersonal relationship skills, and a strong focus on achieving results. Previous experience in resource development and business development is required for this position. Qualifications for this role include preferably holding an MBA degree and having 15 years of experience from a reputable institute. An MBA with two decades of experience is also considered advantageous.
