Director, Head of Global Product Supplies Capability Center, Hyderabad

As the Director, Head of Global Product Supplies Capability Center in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for the sustained health, growth, and continuous improvement of the Global Product Supplies Capability Center in India. Your role will include developing effective partnerships with critical stakeholders across BMS India / GPS and contributing to setting the strategic directions of Global Product Supplies India. You will focus on building the organization through leading the acquisition, development, and retention of talent, driving technical and process excellence within the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory, corporate, and departmental requirements and policies. Reporting to the Global Product Supplies Chief of Staff, you will oversee a team of 150+ professionals based in Hyderabad and ensure alignment with corporate goals and standards. Your key responsibilities will include advising the GPS Leadership Team on emerging trends, acting as a liaison with global teams, facilitating employee onboarding and offboarding processes, driving operational performance excellence, supporting recruitment efforts, providing leadership development opportunities, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, serving as a central point of contact for local announcements and information dissemination, and managing data enablement teams to drive strategic decision-making. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum Graduate degree with at least 16 years of experience in global product supply and managing global capability centers. A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing people and growing teams is required, along with knowledge of global supply chain processes in the Pharma industry. You should demonstrate the ability to operate and lead in a matrix organization, build successful working relationships, and manage stakeholders effectively.
