The Dynamic Targeting team was started in 2023 with the objective of supporting our Territory Managers (TMs) and field facing roles in the US and ex-US affiliates. This team is part of the Lilly Bangalore Field Excellence & Innovation group and collaborates very closely with teams based in Indianapolis (HQ). The team, by design is highly cross-functional with varied backgrounds and skills across data management, platform, analytics and data sciences, business, and commercial operations etc.
To better meet the evolving analytics needs of the organization, we are hiring for a leader to set up and lead the US Dynamic Targeting. This team works for Lillyu2019s US commercial portfolio. The nature of deliverables includes, but not limited to, suggestion design, Dynamic targeting, analytics, Personalization of insights, analysis and multiple other ad-hoc data-powered assessments. In addition, we are at the cusp of working on a number of Agentic and Gen AI initiatives to streamline our processes and drive faster insights/ call recommendations to empower our TMs. For the same, the incumbent will:
- Take End to End ownership of the unit for execution and delivery
- Ideate, own, and deliver on all Agentic AI and Gen AI initiatives within GOSO and Dynamic Targeting Team.
- Work cross-functionally and partner with tech or vendors to build predictive models and AI-driven tools to identify high-potential opportunities making our field execute better
- Take ownership of quality and effectiveness of the Commercial agenda of the capability with an aim to develop expertise and capability at Lilly Bangalore
- Work closely with the onshore advisors to plan and build these capabilities to meet strategic needs
- Build and leverage relationships with stakeholders across BI&A, Vendor partners, other commercial services, u00A0advisors, content management team, central capabilities and other allied teams
- Manage sub-teams, peer group, and stakeholders with utmost integrity as per Lilly values and behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and People Leadership:
u00B7 Direct the delivery team to take ownership and deliver best outcomes through a sound data management, analytics, and operations mindset.
u00B7 Work closely with stakeholders to ensure expansion and penetration of Omni use-cases across commercial & sales ops functions
u00B7 Create a framework for communication, project management, and execution across BUs to help drive best practices
u00B7 Take ownership of design, development, maintenance, and operations
u00B7 Be a mentor for team members, and drive upskilling plans for team
u00B7 Serve as trusted career advisor, and work with functional leadership and HR to identify career opportunities for these team members, both systemically (career path development) and with individuals as needed
u00B7 Develop a pipeline of right talent and leadership, and contribute to an inclusive community of analytics expert practitioners
u00B7 Drive standardization, automation agenda across business units to help scale the delivery operations
Strategic growth and thought leadership.
u00B7 Strategize on key opportunities/ whitespaces, drive discussions and expand outcomes from Lilly Bangalore for Dynamic Targeting Team and contribute to the Field Excellence and Innovation Team.
u00B7 Integrate working model within and across practice and where possible, across other commercial teams to drive better cross-team resourcing, cross-pollination of best practices and expansion of capabilities
u00B7 Network with industry experts and external consultants as needed to develop, evaluate, and implement new approaches and solutions for analytics outcomes
Required Skills and Expertise:
u00B7 Bacheloru2019s Degree with 14+ years of relevant experience in an allied functions such as: Sales Force Effectiveness, data/digital analytics, Omnichannel, integrated marketing, supporting Pharma/Lifesciences Commercial internally or in consulting at least 8+ in leading teams
u00B7 Proven expertise and tangible experience in demonstrating value through AI and advanced Analytics.
u00B7 Proficiency in SQL, R/Python or SAS, AWS, BI platforms, CRM, customer 360 tools
u00B7 High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations
u00B7 Demonstrated ability to enforce business rules and policies in a constructive but disciplined manner
u00B7 Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver and delivering complex cross functional projects
u00B7 Substantial analytics experience and understanding of complexities in specialty markets, medical landscape, and US pharmaceutical business
u00B7 Proven ability to rally resources to achieve project and business results
Education
u00B7 Masteru2019s degree in management/ pharmaceutical or a related field from a premium college
