Job Description: As a Communication Manager at Exela, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities to enhance both external and internal communications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement public relations (PR) strategies to promote brand image and establish thought leadership. - Manage media relations by drafting press releases, pitching stories, arranging interviews, and responding to media inquiries. - Build relationships with journalists, industry analysts, and other external stakeholders. - Monitor news coverage and prepare media reports and sentiment analysis. - Handle crisis communication and reputation management. - Design and execute internal communication strategies to engage employees and support company culture. - Create internal newsletters, executive messages, and company-wide announcements. - Support leadership communications and prepare talking points, speeches, and presentations. - Oversee the development of content across channels such as press releases, blogs, op-eds, and social media. - Collaborate with marketing, HR, and other departments to ensure message consistency. - Support content planning and brand messaging across digital and social platforms. - Collaborate on campaigns that improve visibility and community engagement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field. - Proven track record of successful media relations and content development. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
