Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
• Design and execute detailed

  test cases, test scenarios, and test data

  for UI, API, and database testing.
• Perform

  UI testing

  across browsers, devices, and platforms to validate functionality and user experience.
• Conduct

  API testing using Postman

  (REST/SOAP) including request/response validation, error handling, payloads, headers, and schema checks.
• Execute

  database testing

  using SQL queries for data validation, integrity, migration, and CRUD operations.
• Carry out

  functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing

  .
• Log, track, and verify defects using tools like

  JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla

  .
• Contribute to

  test planning, effort estimation, and status reporting

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
• Ensure

  test coverage, traceability, and compliance with QA standards

  .
• Prepare and maintain

  QA documentation

  including test plans, strategies, reports, and release notes.
• Identify risks, highlight gaps, and recommend improvements to strengthen QA processes.
• Exposure to

  basic automation concepts

  will be an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on QA experience

  in manual testing (UI, API, DB).
• Strong expertise in

  API testing with Postman

  (collections, environments, pre/post-scripts, assertions).
• Proficiency in writing and executing

  SQL queries

  for database validation.
• Solid experience in

  functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  test management and defect tracking tools

  (JIRA, ClickUp, Trello,Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong

  analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

  .
• Excellent

  communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
