Drafting submission for direct tax, transfer pricing Assessment and for appeal submission before CIT(A) Collaborating with various stakeholders for compilation of documents & details for working out annexures to submission to be done before tax officers Drafting Grounds of appeal to be filed before DRP, CIT(A) and for appeal before Tribunals Appearing before tax officers like before Transfer Pricing officer, Assessing officer and CIT(A) for various direct tax assessment / Appeal matters Analyzing case law, preparing legals paperbook for appeal before CIT(A) and Tribunal. Tax Advisory on foreign outward remittance as well as domestic payments. Review of tax related clauses in vendor and customer agreements. Advising on permanent establishment risk and business structuring for customer proposals. Further analyzing the tax laws of various countries and advisory on potential tax benefits if any. Collaborating with various stakeholders for compilation of documents and details and further coordinating with the auditors for completion of tax audit and transfer pricing audit of LTTS and its Indian subsidiaries. Preparation of tax returns in accordance with the provisions of the law for LTTS and Indian subsidiaries. Other statutory direct tax compliances which include Country by Country Reporting (CbCR), Place of Effective Management (POEM), Equalisation Levy (Form 1). Calculations of advance tax to be paid in each installment and ensuring timely payment of the same. Preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and related tax workings such reconciliation of tax accounts in financials etc. Updating the team and management about any implications of any new tax regulations or judicial pronouncements.
