Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Conversion

Identify and pursue new customer leads through field visits, references, and self-sourcing.
Pitch products directly to prospective customers and close high-quality sales.
Conduct customer meetings, demos, or consultations to explain product features and benefits.

Sales Target Achievement

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly individual sales targets.
Monitor pipeline activity and ensure smooth closure of prospects.
Report daily sales activity and progress against targets to management.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and post-sale service coordination.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups.
Use CRM tools to track sales activities and customer data.

Market Intelligence

Stay updated on competitor offerings, market trends, and product developments.
Provide customer and market feedback to the product and marketing teams.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong selling, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Time management and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred for higher roles)
26 years of direct sales experience (preferably in BFSI, telecom, FMCG, or tech)
Field sales experience and local market knowledge are strong advantages
