Job Description

Job Overview:

Diploma candidates

Key Responsibilities :

1. Production & Assembly

Handle electrode coating, calendaring, cell assembly, formation, and testing processes.
Maintain process parameters and ensure production targets are met.
Follow safety and 5S standards in the production area.

2. Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Conduct in-process and final quality inspections of cells, modules, and battery packs.
Perform basic electrical testing (voltage, resistance, insulation).
Record and report non-conformities, assist in root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement.
Use measurement instruments and follow standard test procedures (SOPs).

3. R&D and Testing

Assist in prototype assembly and testing of new battery products.
Support engineers in material testing, cell characterization, and performance data logging.
Conduct cycle life testing and performance validation under supervision.
Maintain lab equipment and test logs.

4. Maintenance & Utilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of production and testing equipment.
Monitor plant utilities (HVAC, vacuum, compressed air, etc.) for stable operations.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in machines.
Ensure minimum downtime and support production continuity.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Basic understanding of
electrical circuits, batteries, or manufacturing processes
.
Hands-on experience with tools, measuring instruments, or machinery operation.
Strong observation, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in
cleanroom / controlled environments
and in
rotational shifts
.
Eagerness to learn about advanced energy storage technology.
