Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities Location :Divitipalli Purpose: We are looking for committed Lithium-ion battery formation and testing engineers, the aspirants should have widespread knowledge and experience, specifically in Li-ion battery from lab level to production level. The candidates will work under the direction of the group lead with the primary role development of the prototypes of the Li-ion batteries and scaling those into production level. Key Responsibilities Perform all formation and testing operations on lithium-ion batteries. Assist in the specification, procurement and qualification of equipment including lab, pilot, and manufacturing plants Improve/modify processes to allow integration of advanced materials into battery cell designs Create detailed work instructions and train technicians on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for all aspects of electrode fabrication processes including mixing, slurry delivery systems, conveyance, web handling, coating, and drying, calendaring and slitting. Work with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturing and design requirements are compatible Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop execution plans for solutions for both designs and processes Accurately forecast task and project timelines to execute project plans Manage inventory of chemicals, powders, foils, cell components.
