Role & responsibilities

JD for Environmental engineer

• Environmental Compliance and Permitting:

   Ensure all projects and operations comply with national and state environmental laws and regulations. This includes preparing documentation and applying for necessary permits from regulatory agencies. Knowledge about EPR regulation

• Pollution Control:

   Design, implement, and manage systems for air, water, and land pollution control and waste management. This can include projects like Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) and waste-to-energy systems.

• Environmental Assessments:

   Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for new projects and site assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of existing commercial activities.

• Monitoring and Reporting:

   Collect and analyze environmental data, such as air and water quality, and prepare technical reports on findings and project progress. This also includes monitoring the environmental impacts of industrial activities.

• Sustainability and Resource Management:

   Advise on and develop strategies for sustainable practices, efficient resource use, and environmental management systems.

• Technical Guidance:

   Provide technical guidance and support to other departments and personnel on environmental best practices and project execution.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Education:

   A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or MSc Environmental science

• Experience:

  5 to 6 yrs,

   exposure to EMS or process based industries such as pharmaceuticals or chemicals manufacturing

• Technical Skills:

   Proficiency in areas such as EIA report preparation, ETP/STP/RO plant design, air and water testing, and data analysis is crucial.

• Soft Skills:

   Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills are essential for success in this role .
