Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Design Engineer will partner closely with the Senior Mechanical design Engineer or group leader to ensure good delivery performance on quality, cost and timely completion of the works.
• Candidate should practice attentive and active listening, seeks, receive and understand Communication.
• Candidate should assimilate and applying in timely manner new job-related information that may vary in complexity. Picks up on the need to change personal, interpersonal.
• Minimum Qualification required bachelor's degree in engineering in Mechanical discipline.
• Previous experience in Hot Rolling mill, Strip Processing line, Cold Rolling Mill will be added advantage.

Technical Requirements

• Capable to develop Basic Engineering / Layout drawings.
• Capable to develop Basic Detail / manufacturing engineering drawings.
• Capable to support production related queries.
• Performs engineering drawings with tools using CAD 2D, Inventor provided by the company in accordance to internationally accepted design standards of Danieli.
• Should be able to demonstrate accurate calculations on all aspects of design and innovations.
• Prepare Specifications for machine equipment.
• Knowledge of International STD and Tropicalization.
• Technical interaction with customers and vendors
• Ability to make Bill of material.
• Candidate should have Problem Solving Ability.
