The primary purpose of your role at Lowe's Companies, Inc. is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. Your role will involve facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure the successful deployment of released applications. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience in a related field. You must have at least 5 years of experience in software development or a related field, along with 4 years of experience in database technologies and working on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC). Your key responsibilities will include translating business requirements and specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions in collaboration with the Product Team. You will support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), define test plans, and ensure quality software deployment. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering fundamentals, software architecture, and can apply these to software solutions. You will also be responsible for automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes and developing conceptual, logical, and physical architectures necessary for business solution delivery. In terms of core competencies, you are expected to focus on customers, deliver results, take action, show courage, and continue learning. You should also exhibit functional competencies such as collaborating effectively, demonstrating technology acumen, communicating efficiently, showcasing learning agility, and being adaptable. Additionally, you should possess technical competencies in Microservices Technology, Application Development Tools, Quality Engineering Technical, and Troubleshooting Software Engineering.
