SAR Signal Processing Research Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on advanced signal processing techniques for SAR data, including:

  • Image formation algorithms

  • New modes of radar operation

  • Super-resolution techniques

• Develop, implement, and test new SAR/radar signal processing algorithms in high-performance computing environments (Python, MATLAB).

• Analyze and interpret SAR processing algorithm results and draw meaningful conclusions.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAR/radar signal processing research and present findings at conferences and workshops.

• Collaborate effectively with engineers, scientists, and researchers on SAR-related projects.

• Research quality improvement methods for SAR data products.

• Document research activities and findings clearly and comprehensively.

• PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field with strong focus on signal processing.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing radar signal processing algorithms.

• Deep knowledge of mathematical tools such as Fourier transform, Hilbert transform, statistical signal processing, Bessel functions, Taylor series, Hough transform, etc.

• Knowledge of SAR imaging principles and techniques is a plus.

• Strong understanding of radar theory and signal processing concepts.

• Experience with high-performance computing languages and frameworks (Python, MATLAB).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong work ethic and passion for research.
