About the Role Tektronix is seeking a versatile and motivated Product Line Application Engineer (PL AE) to support our Technology Domain Expert (Tech Lead) in advancing high-speed serial solutions, with a focus on PCIe, CXL, UCIe, and Ethernet technologies. In this dynamic role, you will work at the intersection of standards development, solution validation, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Tektronix continues to lead in the test and measurement industry. As a PL AE, you will help drive innovation and execution in PCIe/CXL test methodologies while contributing to our Ethernet portfolio, supporting both product development and customer-facing engagements. Job Responsibilities Develop algorithms for Next Generation High speed serial technologies using C#/MATLAB/C/C++. Implement and troubleshoot measurements/algorithms using DSP techniques for the customer problems and propose performance enhancements. Contribute to technical documentation required in the software development process, including algorithm pseudo code, software requirements specifications, software design descriptions, verification and validation plans (including test strategy for algorithm validation), and other items as required. Interact effectively with representatives of the customers and cross-functional domain experts to define software system requirements and develop product/process definition. Would work closely with Product owner, Product planner and Program Manger to deliver the required solution. Qualification Graduate/Post Graduate in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics engineering or Instrumentation Technology. Requirement 5-12 years of the professional experience in software development mainly in Signal Processing i.e., well versed with algorithm development using digital signal processing techniques. Should have experience in developing complex DSP algorithms Prior background in high-speed IO like PCIe, USB, DDR, Ethernet etc will be a significant advantage.
