Digital Signal Processing Engineer

As a SAR Signal Processing Research Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms for processing and analyzing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. Your role will cover the entire research lifecycle, from theoretical concept development to practical algorithm implementation and testing. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research on advanced signal processing techniques for SAR data, including: - Image formation algorithms - New modes of radar operation - Super-resolution techniques - Develop, implement, and test new SAR/radar signal processing algorithms in high-performance computing environments using Python and MATLAB. - Analyze and interpret SAR processing algorithm results to draw meaningful conclusions. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAR/radar signal processing research and present findings at conferences and workshops. - Collaborate effectively with engineers, scientists, and researchers on SAR-related projects. - Research quality improvement methods for SAR data products. - Document research activities and findings clearly and comprehensively. Requirements: - PhD, Masters, or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a strong focus on signal processing. - Proven experience in developing and implementing radar signal processing algorithms. - Deep knowledge of mathematical tools such as Fourier transform, Hilbert transform, statistical signal processing, Bessel functions, Taylor series, Hough transform, etc. - Knowledge of SAR imaging principles and techniques is a plus. - Strong understanding of radar theory and signal processing concepts. - Experience with high-performance computing languages and frameworks such as Python and MATLAB. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. - Strong work ethic and passion for research.
