Job Description

Purpose of the Role: The Digital/Social Media Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's social media strategy and digital marketing campaigns. This role requires a creative and data-driven individual with a strong understanding of various social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and best practices. The Executive will contribute to building brand awareness, engaging with target audiences, driving website traffic, and generating leads/sales through effective digital marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage the organization's social media strategy across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) aligned with overall marketing goals. Create engaging and relevant content (text, image, video) that resonates with target audiences and adheres to brand guidelines. Schedule and publish social media posts effectively using social media management tools. Monitor social media channels for trends, brand mentions, and customer feedback, and respond appropriately. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms. Digital Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and content marketing. Set up, manage, and optimize social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to achieve specific objectives. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure integrated campaign execution across all digital channels. Content Creation & Management: Contribute to the development of content calendars and assist in the creation of various digital content formats. Ensure all digital content is brand-consistent, engaging, and optimized for relevant platforms. Manage and organize digital assets effectively. Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media activities and digital marketing campaigns using relevant analytics tools. Identify key metrics, interpret data, and provide insights to optimize strategies and improve results. Prepare regular performance reports for the marketing team. Community Engagement & Customer Service: Foster a positive and engaging online community around the organization's brand. Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages on social media channels in a timely and professional manner. Escalate complex customer service issues to the appropriate teams. Collaboration & Coordination: Collaborate effectively with other marketing team members, including content creators, designers, and other specialists. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer support) to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Liaise with external vendors and agencies as needed. Staying Updated: Continuously learn and stay informed about the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies. Participate in relevant webinars, online courses, and industry events to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of proven work experience in digital marketing and social media management. Demonstrable experience in developing and executing social media strategies and digital marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices. Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager). Proficiency in creating engaging content (text, image, basic video editing skills are a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with SEO/SEM principles is an advantage. Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Social media engagement rates (likes, comments, shares, etc.). Social media reach and impressions. Website traffic generated from social media. Lead generation/conversions from digital marketing efforts. Social media follower growth. Brand mentions and sentiment. Cost per acquisition (CPA) for paid campaigns. Return on ad spend (ROAS) for paid campaigns. Customer satisfaction/response time on social media. Creativity & Innovation: Ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas. Results-Oriented: Focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving positive results. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with audiences and collaborating with teams. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding and ability to use relevant digital marketing tools and platforms. Adaptability & Learning Agility: Willingness to learn and adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
