Position Summary:

We are seeking a Digital Manufacturing Engineering Expert to spearhead transformative Digital initiatives in our Grid Technologies Product business, focusing on efficiency and innovation for Transformers and Switchgears manufacturing. This role involves collaborating closely with external technology partners, including Consulting companies and Startups, to integrate cutting-edge IT-OT solutions within our factory operations. This role will bring a deep knowledge of Discrete Manufacturing for Power and Electrical Transmission equipment, paired with designing, developing, and implementing scalable applications that leverage cloud technologies and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and drive business value.

How You' ll Make an Impact (responsibilities of role):

• Design and develop cloud-based applications using AWS services, with a focus on AWS IoT

SiteWise for real-time data collection and analysis.

• Implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake to support analytics and reporting,

including integration from SAP systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SAP applications and interfaces to facilitate integration with Snowflake and AWS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software

development.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

What You Bring (required qualifications and skills)

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters

degree is a plus.

• 8-10 years of application development experience in a manufacturing environment, specializing in Application Development, MES Application Development, SAP, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, and Database Management.

• Strong knowledge of IIoT concepts and implementation, particularly with AWS IoT SiteWise.

• Experience with SAP development and integration, specifically in migrating data to Snowflake.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of Networking and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, Modbus).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Certification in relevant technologies or engineering disciplines is a plus.

• Problem-solving mindset and Critical thinking ability to address challenging problems with

innovation.

• Strong inter-personal and communication skills for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
