**Job Description:** As an Applied R&D (AR) professional at Nokia, your role involves target-oriented research aimed at solving specific problems, developing hardware, software, and systems, and providing techno-economic consulting to clients. Your work will be detailed and complex, focused on combining existing knowledge and practices to enhance products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work effectively in a mixed environment, applying best practices to improve products and services. - Utilize in-depth business knowledge to understand how different areas integrate to achieve objectives. - Use advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems and offer new perspectives. - Share initial ideas for the professional direction of your organizational unit. - Act as a professional advisor and mentor for staff, work teams, or taskforces. - Lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements, including day-to-day staff management. - Analyze, design, develop, and test products, services, and improvements for integrated hardware/software systems based on customer requirements. - Manage Subcontracting/Partnership Manager. **Qualifications Required:** - Impact: Accountable for the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of your own and/or team's achievements. Actions and errors can have a program, project, or functional impact. - Scope & Contribution: Perform day-to-day activities to meet departmental/project objectives. Can develop and implement recommendations. Show initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. - Communication: Influence others to accept job functions and new concepts. Communicate effectively with functional leadership and senior leaders. - Knowledge & Experience: Management experience or advanced skills within a specific professional discipline.
