Job Title: Dietitian

Job Summary

The Dietitian is responsible for assessing patients nutritional needs, developing personalized diet plans, and providing guidance on healthy eating habits to support treatment, recovery, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ dietary requirements through evaluation and medical history review.
• Develop individualized nutrition plans based on medical conditions and nutritional goals.
• Provide counseling on diet, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic nutrition.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust diet plans as required.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update patient dietary records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, food safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian or eligible certification preferred.
• Experience in clinical nutrition is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
