Diamond Grader

Key Responsibilities

• Grade diamonds based on the 4Cs: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight
• Perform visual and microscopic examination of diamonds
• Identify natural vs. lab-grown diamonds
• Detect treatments, inclusions, and imperfections
• Use gemological tools (loupe, microscope, calipers, grading software)
• Maintain accurate grading records and reports
• Follow international grading standards (GIA / IGI / HRD)
• Ensure quality control and consistency in grading
• Collaborate with quality, sales, and production teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Certification in Diamond Grading (GIA / IGI / equivalent) preferred
• Strong knowledge of diamond characteristics and grading systems
• Excellent attention to detail and color sensitivity
• Ability to work with microscopes and grading instruments
• Basic computer skills and documentation accuracy
• Ethical handling and confidentiality of gemstones

Preferred Skills

• Experience in diamond labs or jewelry manufacturing
• Knowledge of lab-grown diamond grading
• Familiarity with grading software and reporting tools
• Work Location : Surat (Onsite)
• Experience Required: 2 to 7 Years
• Working Days: 6 Days a Week (Alternate Saturdays Off)
• Salary: Based on Last Drawn Salary and Experience
• We can look for PAN India Candidates who can relocate to Surat location
