Job Description

Proofread and refine academic journals, scholarly articles, and book manuscripts.
Ensure consistency with style guides (APA, AMA, Chicago, MLA, etc.).
Collaborate with authors and editors to maintain clarity and preserve the author’s tone.
Verification, check facts, and ensure adherence to publication standards.
Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Journalism, Communications, or STEM (Math, Science, Engineering).
2–5 years of experience in copy editing or proofreading journals, books, or academic content (freshers with strong portfolios are welcome).
Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guide conventions.
Familiarity with APA, AMA, MLA, and Chicago formats; experience with reference tools preferred.
Proficiency in MS Word (Track Changes), Google Docs (Suggestions), and PDF markup.
Experience using copy editing tools for tagging/structuring using styles.
Working knowledge of Math Type and XML.
Experience using Grammarly or similar language-editing tools.
Work from Office for full-time
