Dialysis Nurse

The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality dialysis care at Hans Renal Care Centers. The role includes operation and maintenance of dialysis machines, patient monitoring, infection control, documentation, and coordination with medical staff to ensure effective treatment for patients with chronic kidney diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

Dialysis Machine and Equipment Management

• Maintain dialysis machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Clean and sanitize dialysis machines after each treatment.
• Ensure sanitization of the surrounding treatment area before dialysis sessions.
• Monitor water treatment systems and manage dialyzer reprocessing as per protocols.

Patient Care and Monitoring

• Observe patients during dialysis for signs of medical emergencies.
• Assist patients with questions or concerns during treatment.
• Monitor vascular access and make necessary adjustments to maintain safe treatment.
• Prepare patients for dialysis and administer local anesthesia as required.

Treatment Support and Coordination

• Work closely with nurses and doctors to administer appropriate dialysis treatment.
• Explain the dialysis process to patients and their families.
• Modify treatment parameters as required to ensure patient safety.

Patient Education and Counseling

• Educate patients on dialysis procedures and ongoing care requirements.
• Guide patients on additional healthcare practices to improve dialysis outcomes.

Documentation and Reporting

• Document pre-dialysis specifications including patient weight, temperature, and vital signs.
• Prepare written reports on patient progress for medical officers.
• Maintain accurate records to support quality care and audits.

Quality Improvement

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives at the dialysis center.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and infection control practices.

Educational Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Dialysis (Mandatory).

Experience and Requirements:

• 25 years of experience working in a dialysis center.
• Proficiency in communication and documentation in English and Hindi.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to remote areas as required.
