Job Description

Summary: As the Medical Affairs Diagnostic Executive, you will leverage your extensive medical and diagnostic experience to drive adoption of testing solutions within a global pharmaceutical context. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless access to required testing and optimizing patient outcomes throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Identify and overcome barriers to cancer biomarker testing by collaborating with testing laboratories, diagnostics kit companies, and healthcare professionals (HCPs). Implement tactical plans to increase adoption of appropriate testing in the assigned territory. Monitor testing rates and analyze test failure rates to optimize testing efficacy in the field. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including pathologists, molecular pathologists, diagnostic suppliers, scientific experts, and HCPs to support the development of robust testing facilities and protocols. Provide insights to core medical teams to inform India-specific strategic plans and local strategies. Utilize strategic key account management skills to foster productive relationships with internal and external partners. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, AZ Code of Conduct, and SOPs in all activities. Internal and External Engagement: Internal: Collaborate with the diagnostics team and core medical team, including brand medical leads and brand teams. External: Engage with healthcare professionals such as oncologists and pathologists, diagnostic partners (labs), advocacy groups, national and regional professional associations, and oncology diagnostics managers. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Biotechnology, or Pharmacy. Experience in molecular diagnostic marketing and clinical test selling, preferably in oncology (e.g., lung cancer, women's cancer, immunotherapy). Proficiency in presenting scientific content to diverse audiences. Ability to travel (>50%, varies with geography). Preferred Requirements: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure. In-depth knowledge of diagnostic test development, regulatory environments, and oncology landscapes. Experience with clinical trials and effective cross-functional project team leadership. Strong focus on execution and problem-solving. This role demands a proactive individual with a deep understanding of medical diagnostics and a strong ability to collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and enhance patient care through effective diagnostic solutions.
