As the Deputy General Manager Supply Chain at our client, a leading FMCG Company based in Chennai, your role involves developing and implementing comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring operational efficiency and cost savings. Your responsibilities include: - Foster and nurture sourcing and supplier relationships to enhance quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining compliance with set standards. - Optimize warehouse, transportation, and distribution networks for ensuring 100% On Time In Full (OTIF). - Establish systems and processes for demand forecasting and inventory control to reduce overstock and stock outs. - Leverage technology and best practices to streamline supply chain processes, improve decision-making, and boost productivity. - Work closely with sales, marketing, R&D, and finance teams to align supply chain processes with business goals. - Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance. - Drive cost efficiency across supply chain operations, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. Qualifications required for this role include a BE/B.Tech degree with an MBA and a minimum of 10 years of experience. Proficiency in English and Hindi languages is also preferred.
