Job Title :Assistant Manager DFM(NPD)

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary

• 3D & 2D Manufacturing Feasibility for Proto, New RFQ and Project Level
• Proto SOR release for Purchase Team with optimized Fixture requirement for Proto development
• New RFQ FTG Costing release along with Takt Time and Cycle time study for Capacity Assessment and Resources Requirement costing, Initial Layout, Child Part and Assy Process flow
• Customer interaction for Feasibility confirmation and Process optimization.
• New Project RFQ Release to H.O. Purchase Team
• SOR Requirements, FTG Requirements, Child part and Assy Process Flow, Takt Time and Cycle Time Study for Capacity Assessment and Resources Requirement along with Line Layout and Manpower Requirement
• Initial Technical Discussion with supplier for Tooling Process flow and welding Fixture Process flow
• DAP closure with supplier for Tooling process and Fixture Process
• FTG Time Plan Release, follow-up and monitoring.
• Standardization/Communization of products & special process for effective development timeline.
• Existing Resources utilization by process redesign/modification for cost reduction and better performance
• Prototype customer Support on delivery for the requirement received.
• Verification of Dimensional inspection reports based on the CIR before parts dispatch.
• Effective participation with CFT Team in preparing the PFD, Control Plan & PFMEA
• RM Planning, Supplier Follow-up and monitoring.
• Co-ordinating and Witnessing the Fixture & SPM Trial at Supplier
• Co-ordinating with Plant Team and Supplier for Fixture Integration with SPM and Installation, commissioning, Trial till Handing Over to Plant
• No of new projects initiated.
• Process Optimization & Product standardization.
• No of Process flow definitions.
• Taking part of New & advance projects
• Contribution in cross function team goals
• Cost saving in FTG Investment for Production.
• Cost saving in internal projects
• Sheet metal & Welding parts
