Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with 4 to 5 years of solid experience in DevOps Engineering, who has deep expertise in Kubernetes-based orchestration, managing cloud-native or on premise infrastructure and secure system design. The ideal candidate must be proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes clusters in EKS or OCP or self managed, working with EFK stacks, and supporting DR strategies in on premise or cloud setups. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, and infrastructure as code is essential. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable DevSecOps infrastructure across cloud (AWS) and on-prem environments. Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and integrate with code quality, security, and container scanning tools. Deploy and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s) across EKS (AWS) and OpenShift (OCP) platforms. Manage and configure persistent storage (PVs, PVCs) for stateful workloads running in Kubernetes. Implement centralized logging and monitoring using the EFK stack (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) and integrate with alerting tools. Configure and manage S3 buckets for backup, logs, and artifacts, with lifecycle policies and access control. Support and manage Nginx as a reverse proxy and load balancer for web and application servers. Implement secure infrastructure components using Vault, Cloudflare, and firewall rule sets. Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, SecOps, Infra) to ensure secure and performant delivery pipelines. Manage, monitor, and harden Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS, Debian) for performance, availability, and security. Perform regular patching, security audits, and enforcement of compliance policies across all environments. Required Skills & Experience: 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering. Proven experience with: Kubernetes (including EKS, OpenShift), Docker, Helm. Persistent Volumes (PV), Persistent Volume Claims (PVC), and StorageClasses. EFK stack, Zabbix, Wazuh, or similar monitoring and logging solutions. CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, integrated with GitOps workflows. Infrastructure automation: Ansible, Terraform. Web/Application servers: Nginx, Tomcat. Networking fundamentals, firewall rule sets, DNS, proxies (e.g., Squid). Cloud services: AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch). Secrets management: HashiCorp Vault. Experience in DR planning, failover design, and infrastructure recovery. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash for automation. Solid understanding of infrastructure and application security principles. Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive approach to system optimization and continuous improvement. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
