DevOps Site Reliability Engineering

As a DevOps Site Reliability Engineer at this MNC client based in Kochi, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing an industry-leading SRE ecosystem to enhance the stability, reliability, and scalability of customer-facing solutions at Amway. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing an SRE ecosystem following best practices of SRE and DevSecOps. - Developing scaffolding libraries for seamless interaction with cloud-native components. - Collaborating closely with technology, product, and operations leads to define the strategic path for the next 3-5 years. - Observing industry trends to formulate effective SRE strategies. - Working with local functional teams to implement SRE best practices and facilitate easy onboarding of applications. To excel in this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills: - Experience in Kubernetes and related ecosystem, including cluster administration and automation tasks. - Proficiency in TypeScript or Go Lang for programming. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration as code, particularly with AWS CDK. - Deep understanding and experience with AWS cloud platform services, such as Networking, EKS, Security, Application Integration, and Observability. - Familiarity with automation practices to enhance reliability and operational efficiency. - Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools like Docker, AWS CodeBuild, Code Pipeline, and GitHub Workflows. - Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch. - Knowledge of service mesh tools like Istio. - Ability to investigate and onboard new technologies in a cloud ecosystem in an automated manner. - Strong understanding of scalability processes and techniques. - Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams in various time zones. - Excellent communication skills in English, including spoken, written, and presentation abilities, as well as proficiency in email and instant messaging platforms like Slack.
