Job Description

As the Manager for the DevOps team at Allegion India, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous integration and software delivery to unify development and operations teams for faster business results. Your responsibilities will include managing the Cloud Infrastructure and SRE team, identifying and recommending continuous improvements on DevOps services, standardizing and training members across product teams on relevant processes, and leading platform engineers to enhance productivity and efficiency in DevOps tools. You will be expected to create and own an Observability Platform for tracking and supporting application health, stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, maintain documentation of processes and technical guidelines, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels within the organization. Additionally, mentoring and sharing knowledge with junior team members, as well as acting as a thought leader for DevOps practices within Allegion, will be key aspects of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 5 years of DevOps experience with software configuration management and release engineering. Proficiency in virtualization and container technologies, cloud solutions design and implementation, configuration management tools, monitoring and logging tools, and leading cross-functional teams are also essential. Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks, security tools, and agile software development practices will be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science Engineering and 13 to 16 years of experience in Software Application Development/DevOps/SRE are required qualifications for this role. Your passion for technology, willingness to explore emerging technologies, positive attitude, and ability to architect highly available and secure systems will contribute to the success of the DevOps team at Allegion India.,
