Role & Responsibilities

Lead complex DevOps initiatives such as
multi-stage releases
,
contract testing
, and
ephemeral environments
, owning
end-to-end quality gates
.
Optimize and
performance-tune CI/CD builds and deployments
, reduce flaky pipelines, and implement
chaos, smoke, and rollback automation
.
Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to
Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
and
platform templates
.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
GitHub Actions
(composite actions, reusable workflows, environments, OIDC) and prior
AWS DevOps pipelines
for migration scenarios.
Docker
image creation and hardening, including
multi-stage builds
and
SBOM generation
.
Kubernetes administration
, including ingress, HPA, RBAC, Network Policies, and packaging using
Helm
.
Terraform
expertise (modules, workspaces, state management, policy-as-code basics).
Observability
using
Prometheus
(recording rules, alerting) and
Grafana
(dashboards, alerts), with understanding of basic tracing concepts.
CI security practices including
dependency, image, and IaC scanning
,
secrets management
,
artifact signing
, and
provenance
.
Strong
Git fundamentals, including,
branch protection, trunk/PR-based workflows, and code review best practices.
Good working knowledge with Azure.
